Hillary Must Win!

PRAY HILLARY WINS!
By David DiBello

Pray to God Hillary wins, because Republicans are going to have a field day with Barack's inexperience, especially in foreign affairs, his hypocrisies and his Chicago based party machine politics which fly in the face of change.

Whenever asked to be specific, supporters refer to his website, while Hillary speaks her positions during debates. Barack "gets caught" when having to be specific, like his musical chairs troop withdrawal, or the fact he supported President Bush's efforts in 2002 and 2003 regarding the war, then regresses to "hope and change," platitudes not positions on how to get things accomplished.

Barack has the ability to get 55% in the general if the turnout, which was record setting in primaries, follows suit. He can also get McGovern type numbers which is more likely because the Republicans will stick the moniker of liberal extremist to him, which they have been successful in doing in the past, and Obama fits the profile.

The Hillary campaign made the error of hubris in believing their promotion. This should have been a coronation, but after eight years of an extreme conservative businessman in office, the pendulum has swung to the far side, as it did after Nixon/Ford when we got Carter, and after Carter when we got Reagan, and after Bush when we got Clinton.

In a general election, Hillary will either garner a low of 48% or a high of 55%. We know all there is to know about her conservative media driven negatives. The reason why Republicans want Obama yet say they prefer Hillary, is in the hopes the Democrats will elect a man so easily beatable. The crossover anti-Hillary Republican vote has been prominent where allowed in previous primaries.

Hillary should be nominee on resume alone. The Democrat electorate is falling for the sensitivity of "hope and change" after being mortally wounded from Bush. The voters are like a spurned lover who got burned by someone who was blonde haired, blue eyed and muscular, and revert to a dark haired, average height book worm.

McCain will be viewed by the electorate for what he is, a Centrist, and Barrack an extremist. He will get Democrat support and at least split Obama's Independents, if not win them outright.

There is only one thing that can work against the Republicans and elect Obama in spite of his extreme liberalness, or create a Clinton or Obama landslide - the economy falters even more. If unemployment is at 7% or more, and the bad news can no longer be avoided, wished away, or double talked by Wall Street, then no matter how centrist McCain, we are all going extreme.

The BIGGEST CHANGE coming out of the general election is the fact that with so many Republicans leaving, the Democrats can gain a veto proof 60 votes in the Senate and a plurality in the Congress which will be a sea change effect. Even if McCain gets elected, he will be at the mercy of a Democrat Congress.
